We will celebrate the 2500 years from the Naval battle of Salamis with a presentation from 5 distinct presenters on the battle and the impact it had on the western civilization. The event is organized by HCC-SW & The General Secretariat for Public Diplomacy & Greeks Abroad of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Greece and 12 of the most prominent large organizations of Diaspora.

HCC-SW celebrates the 2500 anniversary of the battle of Thermopylae. The battle of the 300 Spartans with 700 Thespians fought to death against the Persian army of a million men according to some historians. The battle changed the route of history!
